Samsung Galaxy SL I9003 is a quad-band 2G 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and tri-band 3G HSDPA 900/1900/2100 MHz device that is powered by Android 2.2.
Galaxy SL I9003 is very similar to Samsung’s flagship model Samsung I9000 Galaxy S design-wise. But major hardware changes include WVGA Super Clear LCD capacitive touchscreen display instead of a Super AMOLED (of i9000), 1GHz Cortex A8 CPU TI OMAP 3630 chipset instead of 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor with Hummingbird chipset.
The smartphone boasts a brilliant 4-inch Super Clear LCD capacitive touchscreen Gorilla Glass Display with 480 x 800 pixel resolution that gives a vivid, sharp color HD-like viewing experience and includes Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Proximity sensor for auto display turn-off, and touch sensitive keys at the bottom of device for some common functions.
The data connectivity options include GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps download, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/N wireless LAN with DLNA, Bluetooth 3.0+EDR/A2DP, microUSB port, GPS with A-GPS support and 3.5mm audio port. 
Galaxy SL features a 5.0 megapixel autofocus camera (2592 x 1944 pixels resolution) with geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection and a video camera for recording crystal-clear 720p high-definition videos @ 30 fps. There is also a front-facing VGA camera for video calling. 
Other features of Galaxy SL include FM radio with RDS, audio and video media players, Digital Compass, Organizer, Image/video editor, Document editor (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF) and Adobe Flash 10.1 support.
